The proposal would provide the right facilities and amenities to support a vibrant and healthy community for new and existing residents. This will include opportunities for recreation, including sports facilities, community allotments and market gardens.

A dedicated space will provide new allotments and a Community Market Garden. This would support opportunities for existing and future residents to participate in food production.

Sports Provision

  • Sports and an active lifestyle will be a key part of Foxbury Garden Community
  • New sports pitches and courts with changing facilities would be provided, including a new 3G football pitch
  • Fitness, running, and cycling trails are also incorporated into the plan

Active Transport

  • A series of active transport / walking and cycling routes cross the site, connecting key facilities and amenities and supporting healthy lifestyles
  • Mobility (transport) hubs are located in key areas of the site, providing bus interchange, cycle hire and other facilities

Cemetery

A new cemetery is proposed to support the wider community. This would be in a tranquil location to the south west of the site
